This document contains the rules of Camera Deco Filter 2023$^{(“CDF"\ or\ “CDF\ 2023")}$.

Article 1. Summary

  1. CDF is a competition to rank custom levels VFXed by participants, held over several rounds.
  2. Rounds consist of the Qualifiers and the Main Round.

Article 2. Participant Rules

  1. If a participant does not submit their level until the given period, they will be disqualified.
  2. If contact with a participant is lost or a participant is absent from making levels, they are treated as forfeited.
  3. The following applies in rounds consisting of forming teams with others.
    1. If a team member has disqualified/forfeited, the part by that member is excluded from judging.
    2. Team names that may offend others according to social norms, demean specific individuals/groups, or cause other social controversy cannot be used.
  4. If a participant applies to the following, the participant is immediately disqualified, and they will be banned from participating in all future events organized by ADOFAI.gg for 2 years.
    1. Participating to the competition with one’s secondary aliases (so-called “sub accounts”) without notifying the CDF Staff about their identity
    2. Participating with their sub account and interfering normal operation of the competition, such as being absent while in the Main Round
    3. Leaking secrets by the Staff Team’s request
    4. Stealing others’ names or lending one’s name to another
  5. If a user uses nicknames that may offend others according to social norms, demean specific individuals/groups, or cause other social controversy, the cause will be handled as follows.
    1. If the competition is in the Qualifiers, the user is eliminated.
    2. If the participant changes their nickname that matches the conditions above while in the Main Round, they are immediately disqualified.
  6. Upon submitting each competition level, you agree that the level may be used for livestreams, videos, or websites of thr CDF Staff, and source notation is sufficed to creator indication.
    1. This is only limited to cases where the staff only has to in order to proceed the competition. In other cases, a prior authorization request will take place.
  7. Among the images, videos, music, etc (”assets”) used in levels, the creator or team has the responsibilities for choosing and using assets themselves.
  8. Competition managers cannot participate in the competition in any way. If a manager breaks this, they will be banned from participating in all future events organized by ADOFAI.gg for 2 years, managing in such events forever, and their manager role will be deprived.

Article 3. Qualifiers

  1. In the Qualifiers, users who wish to participate must VFX and submit charts given by the CDF Staff.

  2. Charts are given into 3 types: “Low Lv.”, “Mid Lv.”, and “High Lv.”. Users VFX one chart only from these choices.

  3. Through blind review, if one or more reviewers decide to qualify, the user advances to Round 1.

Article 4. Survival Round (Round 1)

  1. The Survival Round is done as follows.

    1. The CDF Staff provides 4 songs and the corresponding charts.

    2. Participants choose 1 song among the 4, and VFX the corresponding chart.

    3. Participants must not reveal their track selection and/or info that could be used to guess them during the round to anywhere excluding the participant-only channels.

    4. Participants submit the complete level before the deadline.
